The Drama curriculum concentrates on acquiring the required skill set needed to develop as an actor, and gain the transferable life skills of confidence, teamwork and creativity. Pupils are equipped with the knowledge, techniques and insight, which are refined throughout key stage 3 across different performance styles and through the works of Shakespeare, modern scripts and devised pieces that introduce the ideas of the most influential practitioners. This breadth of study is the foundation for key stage 4 when pupils will follow a personalised curriculum tailored to their strengths and interests.
