We encourage healthy eating here at College and our lunch menus are varied and offer a breadth of choice so that every student can enjoy either a hot lunch or a sandwich in Heights Delights – our purpose-built dining area with views over Pendle and the surrounding countryside. When the weather permits, outdoor seating is also available for alfresco dining.
Our catering facilities are provided by Taylor Shaw. They have taken on the contract from 1 September 2023.
Hot meals are available at the Heights Delights Servery. The menus follow a 3 week cycle and are displayed in the Dining Area, the menus undergo a complete revision each term to ensure variety.
In addition to this, wide selections of sandwiches, fruit, yogurts, biscuits and chilled drinks are also available to pupils at lunchtimes. Currently, pupils bring in their own snacks for break. There are also snacks available in each zone for those who forget.

We have introduced our cashless catering system for school lunches. This allows us to be more efficient at lunch times and to record and monitor all food items chosen whilst avoiding pupils carrying cash throughout the day.
Those entitled to free school meals will have their allowance automatically added to their account daily. The system protects the identity of pupils on free school meals. For those not entitled to free school meals, you can top up accounts via the Arbor App using your bank card or Apple and Google pay.
Please ensure you monitor you child's account and make regular top ups to ensure they are always in credit and avoid going into arrears. If you have any issues with the Arbor App please call into school and speak with Mr Fairclough in the office.
Children of families who are on specific types of benefits or income support may be eligible for Free School Meals. You can find out if your child is eligible and register for free school meals through the local council:
If you need any support claiming free school meals please speak to Miss Aicha Khan, Family Liasion Officer at School or email her directly on akhan@marsdenheights.co.uk
