The intent of the geography curriculum at Marsden Heights is to allow pupils to engage with the world around them at a range of different scales, from issues in their locality, to contemporary global issues. To do this, pupils will gain a broad and balanced understanding of different places, people and environments, as well as how physical and human processes interact to shape and continually change the world. The curriculum will ensure that the pupils at Marsden Heights will have a broad and deep knowledge of the subject allowing them to engage with the geographical debates of today and tomorrow.
