The Paul Canoville Foundation Partnership Launch Tammy Quinn / 06 May 2026 / Categories: General It was a memorable day for the Lancaster Cluster, as students and staff welcomed former Chelsea FC footballer Paul Canoville to officially launch a new partnership between the Paul Canoville Foundation and Marsden Heights, The Hyndburn Academy, and Accrington Academy. The launch began with a live online broadcast, ensuring that every student across the cluster had the opportunity to hear directly from Paul Canoville. Sharing his powerful personal journey, he delivered an inspiring message about overcoming adversity and the importance of resilience. Following the broadcast, Paul and members of the Foundation team visited each school in person, meeting students and learning more about the local communities. The visits created a sense of excitement about what lies ahead. A special thanks was given to the student ambassadors who played a key role in welcoming Paul Canoville, as well as showcasing the school and wider community. Representing Marsden Heights were Tulisha and Harris from Year 7, Mehak and Monib from Year 8, and Ahad and Ramel from Year 9.
