Maths Feast

On 19^th March, a team of Year 10 pupils competed in the Maths Feast regional competition at Burnley College.

Thirty teams of pupils took part, and we are thrilled to announce that the Marsden Heights team showcased their best Maths teamwork and secured an impressive 3^rd place.

This was the first time our school has entered this competition, making their achievement even more special.

The students demonstrated outstanding problem-solving skills, perseverance, and teamwork throughout the challenging rounds, tackling complex mathematical problems under time pressure.

Mr Hassan, Teacher of Maths, accompanied the pupils and said:

“Their hard work and dedication truly paid off, and they represented our school with pride and professionalism. A huge congratulations to the students for this fantastic accomplishment. This sets a great foundation for future competitions, and we look forward to seeing even more success in the years to come!”

Congratulations to the Maths Feast Year 10 team - they have done an incredible job and truly deserve the recognition:  Zeeshan, Hashim, Millie and Aliha.
