Boxing and Mentoring Tammy Quinn / 14 May 2025 / Categories: General Marsden Heights is excited to announce a new 6-week Boxing and Mentoring project for Year 8 students, combining fitness, discipline, and personal development, in partnership with Ringside Fitness and Harringtons Learning Centre. Led by Uwais Majeed from boxing academy, Ringside Fitness, the group of 20 students will take part in engaging boxing sessions that focus on physical fitness, resilience, and self-discipline. Following each session, Gulshan Rehman and Abdul Salik from Harringtons Learning Centre will deliver mentoring workshops that explore core values, personal growth, and community awareness. The programme aims to boost self-confidence, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage a stronger sense of belonging and responsibility within the community.
