Consultation on Additions to our Admissions Policy 2028-2029
We have launched a consultation to amend a minor detail within our Admissions Policy.
To be clear, the change we are looking to introduce will have no impact on any student currently at the school, would only come into place from September 2028 and, of course, is only put into effect when the school is over-subscribed.
In essence, we are looking to introduce an additional admissions criterion for children of staff at the school to be used as and when the school is over-subscribed. This is becoming increasingly common place at schools across the country. We will also be removing a category currently called Children with Exceptional Circumstances as we believe that this rarely used criteria is fully covered in our policy covering vulnerable children.
