Marsden Heights Appoints New Head Students for 2026-27 Tammy Quinn / 16 September 2026 / Categories: General Marsden Heights Community College is delighted to officially announce the appointment of Aqdas, Adnan, Eva and Jannat as our Head Students for the 2026-27 academic year. Following a rigorous selection process in July, all four students demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, confidence and commitment to the school community, earning their place on the Year 11 Student Leadership Team. Speaking about their goals as Head Students, the team said: “I want students to be heard and to be inspired by us to become Prefects and Leaders themselves.” Jannat “My aim is to be a role model for others and to be involved as much as I can.” Aqdas “I want to be able to present students’ point of views and ideas to members of SLT.” Eva “I would like to improve my confidence and to give students more opportunities and create more future leaders.” Adnan As Head Students, they will play a key role in representing the student body, promoting our values of Respect, Aspiration and Resilience, and helping to shape the culture and ethos of Marsden Heights. Working closely with staff and students, they will act as role models, lead initiatives and ensure student voice remains at the heart of school life. Mr Delve, Principal, said: "We are incredibly proud to appoint Mohammad, Adnan, Eva and Jannat as our Head Students for 2026-27. Throughout the selection process, they demonstrated enthusiasm, maturity and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on our school community. I am confident they will be outstanding ambassadors for Marsden Heights, inspiring others through their leadership and commitment while helping us continue to make our school the very best it can be."
