Pendle Engage & Explore Careers Fair Tammy Quinn / 07 October 2025 / Categories: General On 2nd October, Year 10 students from Marsden Heights Community College attended the Explore and Engage Futures Careers Fair at The Muni Theatre in Colne. Organised by Pendle Borough Council, the event brought together students from six Pendle high schools for a day of career inspiration and exploration. The fair provided a valuable opportunity for students to speak directly with college providers about their post-16 options and engage with a wide range of employers to learn more about different industries and apprenticeship roles. Businesses and organisations in attendance included Silentnight, Daisy Communications, Farnworth Rose Solicitors, D&M Creative, Sovereign, and public sector representatives such as the North West Ambulance Service, Lancashire Skills Hub, and Pendle Borough Council. Mrs Ross, Careers Lead at Marsden Heights, commented: “It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore future pathways and speak with professionals from a wide range of sectors.
