BAE Systems Returns for Year 7 STEM Roadshow Tammy Quinn / 15 October 2025 / Categories: General We were delighted to welcome back BAE Systems for another exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) roadshow, engaging our Year 7 students. In collaboration with the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, the roadshow aims to inspire young minds by showcasing real-world applications of science and technology. This year’s theme focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), bringing the concept to life in a fun and interactive way. Students had the opportunity to use AI to create a song and music video - supported by none other than robot dog Fluffy! Mrs Ross, Careers Lead at Marsden Heights, said: “The roadshow sparked excitement in Year 7 and engaged them in STEM activities. Thank you to the BAE Systems team for showing them the possibilities and pitfalls of artificial intelligence, as well as the diverse pathways in engineering.” Together, BAE Systems, the Royal Air Force, and the Royal Navy employ thousands of engineers worldwide. Through this roadshow, they aim to encourage students to explore future careers in STEM and consider the many opportunities available in engineering and technology. Previous Article Empowered Voices
